Two Dimensions

Modern individual is usually aware of spiritual and philosophical quests of both the West and the East, but he also has his own, rather abstract and undefined bouquet of meanings regarding the universe.

​The light and the dark, emptiness and fullness ... In the Western tradition they are opposites, antipodes, while in the East they are rather parts of one integral whole. In internal endless space of the Eurasian man, prevailing West-East sense winds of varying intensity blow.

Just as art with its non-verbal language and dealing with light and its absence, photography can certainly visually reflect upon unknowable mysteries of life, playing with meanings in our inner world through its unique metaphorical language.
